Printing becomes more operational, cheaper, and accessible

Excellent quality, speed, and the ability to print small and even very small quantities – these options are offered by the new equipment of SIA "Dizains un Druka"
In Latvia, there are many companies and also physical persons who need to print small quantities. Responding to the demand and market trends, SIA "Dizains un Druka" has acquired a full-color, commercial printing system Konica Minolta bizhub PRESS C7000P, which is currently the only one in Latvia. Board member Lidija Skudra explains: “The traditional print method is offset, which is high in quality, but due to its production specifics, it becomes inefficient and expensive for small quantities. Currently, digital printing has developed significantly, offering us the possibility to print even a single copy in excellent quality. This printing method does not require several pre-print preparations, therefore, printed materials can be received almost instantly. An advantage of this printing method is the ability to make changes in content and color correction during the printing process.”
“Some of our new clients still hold the mistaken belief that digital printing is poor quality printing on some office printer; unfortunately, some companies have offered such printing services, spoiling the consumer's perception of digital printing. On the other hand, we pride ourselves on having this equipment, because once the printed product is received from us, the consumer no longer has any doubts about the capabilities and quality of the device,” – says Lidija.
Financially advantageous, as it reduces the cost and makes orders more accessible to the client
There is no need to pay for excess copies, as you can order as many copies as necessary without overpaying for the unnecessary. For instance, if brochures are needed for a specific event, only 100 copies needed, then printing offset would normally require a minimum print run of 1000 or 500 copies. The average price for these quantities in offset would be 170-250 EUR, but in digital print, it is possible to print the needed 100 brochures for 85 EUR. If a book or a brochure with multiple pages is needed and the quantity is small, 100 – 200 copies, the price difference is very noticeable – printing in offset might cost 2-3 times more, for example, 2000 EUR in offset versus 700 EUR in digital print. “We offer various printing methods and depending on the specifics of the order, we recommend the most suitable one to the client,” – continues Lidija.
Speed and efficiency
A major advantage of printing with Konica Minolta bizhub PRESS C7000P is the speed – small quantities can be printed within an hour. If you run out of printed materials during exhibitions or seminars, they can be very quickly printed in the necessary quantity. There are also clients who place orders at the last minute, for example, for Christmas and New Year's materials.
